Interested in using Hemp CBD but not sure where to start? Let's break down the basics.

Surprisingly, the #1 mistake we see people make when starting with Hemp CBD isn't the type of product, it's how they use the product. Hemp CBD is not one-size-fits-all. An individual's optimal dose depends on their unique body chemistry. This is why renown practitioners, like Dr. Ethan Russo, encourage people to "start low, go slow".

How do I "start low, go slow"

"Start low, go slow" refers to the process doctors recommend for applying Hemp CBD into your routine. In order to find an optimal dose, you try different strengths over a sequence of days and log your response. This process works whether you are using Hemp CBD as a natural aide for anxiety, sleep, or pain.

So, how exactly does this process work? Each day, you take your Hemp CBD at the same time. On the first day, you start with a low strength of Hemp CBD (we recommend 10mg). After taking your dose, you pay close attention to your body's response and log any improvements you notice. Over the course of a week, you slowly increase the strength, working your way up to a strength of 50mg.

At the end of the week, reflect back on your journal to get a sense of which strengths provide the most relief. You can then use these strengths on an ongoing basis to provide reliable relief.

Getting started

You now know how to properly use Hemp CBD. You'll need a Hemp CBD product available in multiple strengths and a way to log your response each day.

We worked with doctors and researchers to make getting started as easy as possible with our Discovery Pack, which includes a guiding pamphlet, journal, and a week of Hemp CBD capsules ranging from 10mg to 50mg.
